Toyota Caldina Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota Caldina cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. In March the price for a car is KSh 477,593 increasing till KSh 505,000 in April. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -16 % compared to the previous two months studied. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from KSh 451,995.25 to KSh 452,565.5 during July and August.
The average price for Toyota Caldina has had a strong rise in recent years. During "before 2000" and 2002, the average price was KSh 395,855.66. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years (2003, 2004) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 18 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (KSh 525,937.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2005, 2006) with a price of KSh 583,750.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota Caldina cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "less than 10,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 14 % more affordable than the average price (KSh 459,222). Next with a price of KSh 480,000 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "100,000 - 200,000". It is 7% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "more than 200,000" and a price of KSh 485,000.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota Caldina cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 14 % less expensive than the average market price (KSh 459,222) followed by "Petrol" priced at KSh 416,500. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 9 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of KSh 397,000.
