Toyota Prius Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota Prius cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in January was of KSh 2,494,182. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at KSh 2,525,143 during February. The following two months (March, April) the selling price went through a devaluation of -12 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -36 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from KSh 2,365,065.75 to KSh 1,518,431.5.
The average price for Toyota Prius has become more expensive in recent years. Between 2010 y 2014, the average price is KSh 1,029,874.38. There was a price inflation going from (KSh 968,333) to (KSh 1,019,704). During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 18 %. During the last two years the price has remained constant with regard to the previous 4 years, going from an average price of KSh 1,153,428.75 in 2017 and KSh 1,096,678.5 during 2018.

It´s price is 21 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Hybrid" with a price of KSh 954,442.

They are 17 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at KSh 1,130,788. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 6 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
