Toyota Crown Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota Crown cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In August the average price per vehicle is KSh 2,090,000. During September the price went trough a strong deflation till KSh 1,450,000. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -29 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -29 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from KSh 1,510,833.5 to KSh 1,068,657.5.
The average price for Toyota Crown has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2006 and 2011, the average price is KSh 1,441,566. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2006 (KSh 730,000) moving up till (KSh 1,282,500)in 2011. Cars belonging to the model aforementioned had a price deflation of -8 percent in the next two years (2012, 2013) compared to the previous two years. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 7 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (KSh 1,424,687.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2016, 2019) with a price of KSh 1,525,000.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota Crown cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 34 % more affordable than the average price (KSh 1,193,148). Next with a price of KSh 1,254,722 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 10% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of KSh 1,254,722.

It is 32 % less expensive than the average market price (KSh 1,193,148) followed by "Petrol" priced at KSh 1,299,833. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 9 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs KSh 816,250.
