Toyota Hilux Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota Hilux cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in May was of KSh 3,574,173. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at KSh 3,522,027 during June. The following two months (July, August) the selling price went through a devaluation of -9 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from KSh 3,387,879.5 to KSh 3,223,133.5 during September and October.
The average price for Toyota Hilux has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2011 and 2014, the average price is KSh 2,856,375. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2011 (KSh 2,015,000) moving up till (KSh 4,208,000)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 37 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 27 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (KSh 5,372,550) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2020, 2021) with a price of KSh 6,823,750.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota Hilux cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 54 % more affordable than the average price (KSh 3,343,371). Next with a price of KSh 2,542,231 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "25,000 - 50,000". It is 42% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" and a price of KSh 3,581,463.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota Hilux cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 25 % less expensive than the average market price (KSh 3,343,371) followed by "Diesel" priced at KSh 3,437,064. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 3 % higher than the average market price followed by "Petrol" which costs KSh 2,502,000.

They are 18 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at KSh 2,727,462. Cars with the the highest price have 4 doors and are 25 % more expensive than the average mentioned before.
