Subaru Legacy Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Subaru Legacy cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in March was of KSh 1,765,225. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at KSh 1,707,811 during April. The following two months (May, June) the selling price went through a devaluation of -6 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from KSh 1,680,810.75 to KSh 1,700,075 during July and August.
The average price for Subaru Legacy has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2010, the average price is KSh 702,950.81. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (KSh 294,375) moving up till (KSh 956,378)in 2010. During the next two years (2011, 2012) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 99 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 8 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (KSh 1,520,586.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2013, 2014) with a price of KSh 1,643,935.
The graph that displays the price for Subaru Legacy cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 71 % more affordable than the average price (KSh 1,729,850). Next with a price of KSh 935,700 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 7% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at KSh 1,576,625.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Subaru Legacy cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 57 % less expensive than the average market price (KSh 1,729,850) followed by "Petrol" priced at KSh 1,347,007. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 22 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of KSh 747,222.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that Subaru Legacy automobiles with the cheapest price have 4 doors. They are 30 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at KSh 1,213,609. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 25 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
